Unit 2: Measuring the Universe

Unit Outcomes / Objectives
  • Student will be able to summarize how gravity builds the Universe
  • Student will be able to compare the how different parts of the electromagnetic spectrum are used to measure the Universe
Description
The fundamental forces of the cosmos give it structure. Especially Gravity, which is responsible for the evolution of the matter and stars. It is due to Gravity that everything in the sky moves like it does. Without Gravity there would be no Light in the Universe, and only through the Electromagnetic Spectrum (Light), are we able to measure the Universe.
