  • Hypothesis: A testable statement for an observation, problem, or question. (Cannot be an opinion)
  • Theory: A collection of similar hypothesis' that are repeatedly tested by MANY scientists with a similar result.
  • Law: A statement that explains something in the natural universe. These are considered universal truths. (Law of Gravity for example.)

  • Describe the difference between a theory and a hypothesis.
    • You must provide examples of both a hypothesis and a theory in your description.
